A year-round schedule of activities helps create community gatherings between citizens and people from other regions in addition to discovering the town and the talents of the people who live here.JANUARY
Outdoor DayChampdoré’s 2026 Outdoor Day is a winter event for the whole family that will take place on Saturday, January 24, at the Fernand-Léger outdoor skating rink. Starting at 1 p.m., participants can enjoy skating, sledding, and a bonfire, as well as free hot chocolate, popcorn, and maple taffy. From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Justin Vautour and André Léger will perform a live music show, and the day will conclude with fireworks at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a beautiful winter day with family and friends.

School SkatingThe Champdoré Schools Ice Skating Event will take place on January 27, 2026, in the City of Champdoré. This event will give students the chance to enjoy an active winter day in a fun and safe environment. The children will have the opportunity to skate with their classmates, get some exercise, and enjoy the joys of winter. The goal of this event is to encourage physical activity and the pleasure of spending time outdoors.

School Art ExhibitionThe Champdoré Schools Art Exhibition will take place on January 29, 2026, in the town of Champdoré. This event will showcase artwork created by students from schools in the region and will give families, friends, and the community a chance to discover their creativity and talent. This exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the students’ artistic achievements and recognize their dedication throughout the school year. Everyone is welcome to come admire the students’ creations and share this moment with them.

Hockey TournamentChampdoré’s annual 4-on-4 adult hockey tournament is back on Saturday, January 31. Those interested in participating are invited to contact us to register. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and the tournament will be limited to a maximum of six teams.

FEBRUARY
Gun Club EveningThe Champdoré Gun Club Evening will take place on February 14, 2026, in the town of Champdoré. This event will bring together members and enthusiasts in a friendly atmosphere for an evening of socializing and conversation. Participants will be able to enjoy a pleasant time in good company and share their common interest in a warm and welcoming setting. Everyone is welcome to attend this event.

Mayor for a DayChampdoré’s “Mayor for a Day” program will take place on February 18, 2026, in the City of Champdoré. This event will give a student the opportunity to learn about the role of the mayor and how the municipal government works. By participating in various meetings and activities, the student will have the opportunity to learn more about municipal responsibilities and the importance of civic engagement. This initiative aims to raise young people’s awareness of municipal life and help them discover the work being done within their community.

French Pride Week - Sainte-Marie ParadeAs part of French Pride Week, the Sainte-Marie Parade will take place on March 16, 2026, in Sainte-Marie. This event brings the community together to celebrate the French language, Acadian culture, and Francophone heritage in a festive and friendly atmosphere. Participants are invited to join the parade and show their pride by celebrating the traditions and richness of the Francophone world. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together and enjoy a unifying experience with family and friends.

French Pride Week - La Fureur at the Community CenterAs part of French Pride Week, the La Fureur activity will take place on March 18, 2026, at the Sainte-Marie Community Centre. Inspired by the famous game show in the province of Quebec, this activity promises an evening filled with music, fun, and friendly challenges. Participants will be invited to test their French musical knowledge and have fun in a festive and inclusive atmosphere. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the French language and culture while enjoying an entertaining time with family and friends.

Easter ActivityEaster is celebrated with a family activity that includes an egg hunt, crafts and a visit from the Easter bunny.

Community CleanupIn order to keep the community clean and preserve the environment, citizens are invited to choose a street, a neighborhood or the surroundings of their property and pick up the garbage at a time that is convenient for them.

Community Garage Sale

JUNE
Soirée Musicale Champdoré – A Summer of Live Music! 🎶🎤
Join us for the Soirée Musicale Champdoré, a vibrant summer concert series that brings live music to various locations across the Town of Champdoré! From June to August, enjoy performances by talented local and regional artists in beautiful outdoor settings, including parks, recreational areas, and waterfront venues.
Whether you're a fan of country, folk, Acadian, or rock music, there's something for everyone in this exciting lineup. Bring your lawn chair, relax under the open sky, and soak in the sounds of live performances – all for free!

Canada Day 🍁Each year, Canada Day is celebrated in Champdoré. The festivities include the official ceremony, the flag raising ceremony, a barbecue, music, the cake cutting ceremony and inflatable games for children. It’s a way for citizens to show their pride and remember that Canada is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

AUGUST
Acadian Day 🟦⭐⬜🟥Champdoré celebrates August 15th with a family event that includes music, activities for children, cake and a day full of fun with the whole community.

SEPTEMBER
Course Yvon LeBlanc Run
Since 2016, an official race has been held every year on the streets of Saint-Antoine, in the Town of Champdoré. Adults and children from the region are invited to walk or run a 10 km, 5 km, or 1 km fun run to raise funds to address the problem of food insecurity in local schools. This year, the routes will take participants through some beautiful sections of our Saint-Antoine community trail network. Sign up and come enjoy a friendly, energetic experience, all for a worthy cause!

🦇💀 Halloween Activity 👻🕷🎃Small and big monsters, superheroes, witches, vampires and princesses are invited to participate in Halloween-themed activities. Children in costumes will receive a bag of candies.

Remembrance Day Ceremony
Each year, a ceremony is held in Champdoré to pay tribute to the veterans. The Remembrance Day ceremony begins at the Saint-Antoine Community Centre, followed by the parade at the Veterans Monument.📅 Schedule: November 11th, 2026

Christmas marketThe people of the Champdoré region are talented, and in December, the town organizes a craft and pastry sale so that everyone can discover and share.

Christmas Reception
