(Champdoré, N.-B., May 3, 2023) – At the special meeting of January 9, 2023, the municipal council of the Town of Champdoré unanimously adopted a strategic planning process. Following a request for proposal process, JGV Consultants Inc. was selected to assist the new municipality.
Starting in mid-May, the population of Champdoré is invited to participate in the consultation process in the four corners of the municipality. The purpose of this consultation is to give a voice to the citizens of the various wards of the Town of Champdoré. In addition, the town’s organizations that work in different sectors will be consulted according to their field of activity.
The municipal council is motivated to involve as many citizens as possible to ensure that the strategic plan represents the established priorities and expectations of the population. To get the new city off to a good start, the municipal council needs the input of the people on a series of questions that, once answered, will help guide the new town for the next five years.
