Town of Champdoré

PUBLIC NOTICE
(Pursuant to the Local Governance Act, S.N.B. 2017, Chapter 18)

The Town of Champdoré intends to adopt a by-law entitled “By-Law Relating to Open Fires”, in order to establish rules to promote fire safety, prevent fire hazards, and protect lives, property and the environment.

By-law No. 2026-05 is intended, among other things, to regulate open fires within the Town of Champdoré, establish different categories of fires, identify situations where a burning permit is required, and set out conditions applicable to outdoor fire pits and appliances.
Interested persons may consult the proposed by-law at the General Manager’s office at the Champdoré Municipal Building, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on regular business days.


Written objections to the by-law project will be considered during a public hearing that will be held at the Champdoré municipal office on July31, 2026 at 6:30 pm. Anyone wishing to speak for or against these written objections may do so at these times & location.
