  • A sanitary sewer line replacement and street improvement project will begin on August 14, 2023, on Renaud Street (civic 24 to civic 65). Some properties may be affected during the work; however, owners will be informed a few days before the work begins. We wish to inform you that all affected properties will be reinstated before the end of construction. Work will be carried out during the week from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday. Occasionally, work may be undertaken on a Friday. Affected citizens will receive a letter from Englobe.

    The Town of Champdoré wishes to address the topic of public safety and situations involving criminal activities on its territory. The Council invites the population to remain calm and to report all Criminal Code violations to the RCMP. Vigilante groups and their activities are not supported by the Town. The Town of Champdoré remains committed to the safety of its citizens and is continuing efforts in this direction.

    If you find syringes or needles at municipal facilities, please notify the municipality immediately at (506) 525-4020. Public works employees are equipped with the resources necessary to safely collect them. It is important that citizens do not pick up these needles as appropriate measures must be taken to dispose them for the safety of the waste disposal employees.
